The Boarding phase brings more excitement, responsibilities and challenges.
The Boarding phase brings more excitement, responsibilities and challenges to the Graduates: They gain more work experience in their respective business line and develop a diverse client portfolio, varying from local companies to larger international firms. Graduates ignite their potential by applying what they have learned during the check-in phase and put this knowledge into practice.
What sets the KPMG Graduate Journey apart is its focus on facilitating a cross-functional working environment: Graduates will have the opportunity to work across different services lines, within Advisory but also between Advisory and Audit.
The end of the Boarding phase marks the end of the first Graduate year: The Graduates take time to reflect on their experiences, share tips and give each other feedback to best prepare for the second half of the Journey.
Testimony: Mikkel Thaarup, Graduate in Advisory:
"The second phase, boarding, has been my favorite time during the Journey. It was great to put my knowledge into practice. The best thing was to have a lot of client interaction and work in teams to finish projects. I felt like I could really add something to the team, and that feeling was amazing!"
