Empower your future career by leveraging new technologies.

Empower your future career by leveraging new technologies.

How will artificial intelligence affect our future?
Will virtual robots disrupt our work lives?
Can algorithms be sued like civilians?

At TechAcademy, new ideas blossom and new tech applications are born. By joining the TechAcademy progam, you will get a unique chance to work with the newest technologies. You will learn from experts in their respective fields and you will apply your creativity and knowledge on real life client cases. At TechAcademy you will connect with likeminded tech savvy students and professionals, as we believe the best ideas come from collaboration.

TechAcademy is not solely focused on the great things that these technologies can be used for. We will also discuss the ethical and social challenges that arise as human lives and technology become increasingly entangled.

The TechAcademy program spans over 4 evenings spread over a year. Each evening will have its own focus that revolves around new technology. The dates of the program are:

• Friday, February 8th 2019 - Bots
• Thursday, May 16th 2019 - AI and Machine Learning
• Thursday, September 12th 2019 - Internet of Things
• Friday, November 8th 2019 - Future Technologies

As new technologies emerge all the time the program might change – what is relevant now might not be relevant in 1 year. We always want to be at the forefront of the new.

The only requirement for applying is that you are currently studying for your bachelor or master degree (does not have to be technical), and that you are eager to learn more about cutting-edge technologies!

Your application should include:

  • A short essay on new technologies - Write an essay about a cool new technology with a maximum length of 1000 characters. Write about how this technology can change the world for the better.
  • CV
  • Grade transcript

Please note that TechAcademy is a place for learning and exploration. It is not a job or employment opportunity. Rather, we wish to create an open learning space with individuals who are as passionate about technology as we are.

We will evaluate applications at an ongoing basis. We look forward to seeing you!
