The KPMG Audit Trainee programme is a 2-year varied training programme aimed at developing your technical skills designed to develop you to become an extraordinary auditor of the future.

This programme has been designed with the intention that you are given a thorough education in the fundamentals of what it takes to be successful in our business.

We want to whet your appetite to learn more, push the boundaries on what you can do, and emerge with an increased desire to continue on your voyage of discovery and development.

 

KPMG Audit Trainee programme overview:

On-boarding
We will take you on a trip to an exciting city in Europe during the on-boarding week. You will learn a lot about bookkeeping and you will get an introduction to audit during this week.

Year 1
Once you come back from the training abroad, your training will continue in Copenhagen. The main focus is to get you up and running for client facing work and the busy season.

Year 2
You will have a lot of audit technical training again during your second year. You will learn how to make samples for instance and how to calculate taxable income.

 

Your career as an auditor:

HD 1st part
The education, HD 1st part, is two years at the university. You will get 200 hours of study leave from KPMG during your education.

HD 2nd part
The education HD 2nd part, is two years at the university as well. You will also get 200 hours of study leave from KPMG during those two years.

Cand.merc.aud
Cand.merc.aud is a three-year master program at the university. The amount of hours you get as paid study leave depends on your courses, some courses require more hours than others (e.g. regular cand.merc.aud courses and HD-suppleringsfag or your master thesis).
