Director, Head of Internal Controls, Country Specialist Japan
KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft
As head of internal controls, I am responsible for the quality of service, the identification of new trends and the timeliness and competitiveness of the KPMG services related to the implementation, further development and testing of internal control systems (ICS). In addition, I belong to KPMG's Country Practice Japan in Germany.
With reliable, but at the same time simply structured ICS and governance, risk & compliance approaches, we meet the expectations of capital-market-oriented companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and family businesses. Individual solutions are always required, from concept to software support. These must take into account existing corporate governance and the culture of the company as well as the degree of certainty and reliability that the respective control system can and should do.
The IKS is also regularly concerned with making business processes leaner, more efficient and creating transparency. My particular interest in each project is the people acting and the organization's ability to design and implement its own responsibility - the ICS has to be filled with life.
