KPMG Czech Republic has appointed Carolyn Břečťanová to the position of partner for quality and risk management, Pavel Falout for deal advisory services and Ladislav Malůšek for tax advisory services.
Carolyn Břečťanová began her career at KPMG in the audit department twenty-two years ago. Since 2009 she has been involved in quality and risk management for which, as a partner, she will now be responsible. Břečťanová graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Czech Agricultural University in Prague and was awarded an Executive MBA at the Ecole National PCH and Bristol University. Her hobbies include reading and sport.
Pavel Falout joined the audit department of KPMG Czech Republic in 1999. He later became one of the founding members of the team focused on transaction advisory services. As a partner in the Deal Advisory department he will be primarily responsible for transaction services. Falout graduated from the Technical University in Liberec. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, skiing and cross country skiing.
Ladislav Malůšek has been involved in tax consultancy for financial institutions, especially banks, insurance companies, investment funds, and multinational companies. He also has experience with projects focused on international restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, with inputs to the stock market and extensive tax litigation. After thirteen years with KPMG he is becoming a partner in the tax services department, where he will develop services for the financial sector. Malůšek graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the Economics University in Prague. In his spare time he enjoys sports.
