Iacovos P. Ghalanos is a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer at KPMG in Cyprus. Iacovos currently leads the Economics & Regulation Department and Forensic Services of KPMG in Cyprus. Iacovos has been providing a diverse spectrum of advisory and assurance services to clients (governmental, semi- governmental and private) over his career with KPMG that spans over 18 years. Such services include regulatory assistance/compliance, forensic investigations, internal audit services, business performance improvement, writing up procedures manuals and corporate governance matters. His role as leader of the Department has allowed him to provide financial advisory services to numerous organisations in a variety of industry sectors with a particular focus in the Utilities and Healthcare sectors. Iacovos has undertaken numerous engagements in various jurisdictions in Europe and the Middle East. He has published various articles and provided presentations to market participants in international conferences.
