We can assist employers with their tax and social security compliance obligations both in Mainland China and Hong Kong and internationally where employees travel to and from or within the region.

From a local perspective, we can provide insight into market practice. We can assist employers to identify cost savings relating to employees and structure incentive compensation to recruit and retain talent.

From an international perspective, we can assist in developing tax assignment policies, reviewing employment structures, preparing employer and employee tax returns, identifying employer obligations in new locations and advising on the controls needed in relation to frequent business travellers to mitigate risk. KPMG's Global Mobility Advisory team can also assist with international human resources issues such as immigration, payroll, social security and benchmarking.

Tax compliance
