Li joined KPMG China in 2010, and is responsible for providing due diligence and transaction related tax advisory services to our major clients based in China. She has been involved in international tax planning projects, M&A transactions and due diligence exercises.
Li also advised Chinese enterprises on the tax efficiency of the holding and financing structures in their overseas investments, including most recently assisting a large Chinese state-owned oil and gas company with the review of the tax efficiency in the holding and financing structures in its overseas investments (in Latin America, Asia Pacific as well as Africa).
Li worked in KPMG United States for nine years and advised a broad range of U.S. multi-national and foreign-owned clients. Li has extensive experience with a wide range of U.S. outbound international tax matters relating to her clients’ businesses. Li’s past clients include multinational corporations in industrial markets, consumer markets, as well as the communications and media industry.
