The cost of capital study 2016 examines the impact of the dynamic economic environment and the high market volatilities on the corporate decision-making processes. For example in regards to investment, transaction or transformation decisions which consequently affect the budgeting and the derivation of capital costs.
The focus of this year's study lies on new methods for valuation, big data and business analytics tools, risk transparency and risk management as well as value-oriented control systems.
The relevance of the study for the practice was once again confirmed by the high number of participants: A total of 196 companies in the German-speaking area have participated in the study.
