The focus topics of this year’s study are the macro-economic uncertainties that flow into corporate budgeting, change at micro-economic levels and the planning of disruptive business models, cost of capital and the challenges of low interest rates, populism and new technologies, cost of capital as a yardstick in a world that has become ever harder to compare and new valuation methods in disruptive times.
The relevance of the study for the German-speaking corporate world was once again confirmed by the ever-greater number of participants. In total, 205 companies from the German-speaking area participated in the study, including 87% of DAX-30 companies and 44% of MDAX companies.
