Nirmal Dias, a tax specialist, will first present the new features and challenges companies will face in view of the forthcoming Tax Proposal 17 (TP17). Alexandre Probst, a Swiss GAAP FER specialist, will discuss the effects of the new tax legislation on the preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER.

You will then be able to attend one of the following workshops moderated by KPMG specialists:

  • For companies in the industrial and commercial sector, Alexandre Probst will discuss how to account for company acquisitions (FER 30) using various practical examples (earn-out, badwill, etc.), the treatment of hedging transactions and various application issues.
  • For not-for-profit organizations, Cédric Rigoli will take a look at project management and related industry specifics (asset management, government-funded projects, etc.). In addition, he will discuss the definition of performance measurement as per Swiss GAAP FER 21 as well as its differentiation from the annual result.
