William Southwell leads the Non-Life Actuarial and Insurance Risk team, covering audit and advisory services to insurance and reinsurance companies. Will has 11 years of non-life insurance consulting experience in the UK, Continental Europe and Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining KPMG Switzerland in 2012, he worked for two major consulting firms in Switzerland, London and Singapore. Will has worked on projects in over 20 developed and developing markets in Europe and Asia Pacific, covering topics including loss reserving, pricing, capital modelling, Swiss Solvency Test, Solvency II, Merger & Acquisition, market entry, regulation and insurance risk.
He also acts as responsible actuary for several insurers and reinsurers in Switzerland, and his current focus is on expanding KPMG Switzerland’s services around the CRO agenda, including responding to the upcoming Swiss ORSA requirements.
