Pascal has more than 10 years of relevant experience at KPMG. Since 2014, Pascal holds the overall responsibility for all non-tax related topics within the FS Regulatory Competence Center of KPMG Switzerland. Prior to that, he was Head of the Practice Group “Legal Financial Services” between 2013 and 2014. Overall, Pascal has more than fifteen years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry. Before KPMG, he was working at a major Swiss bank (product management mortgages and loans), as well as with a Big-4 accounting firm in New York.
Pascal advises national and international clients mainly in questions on the financial market legal system as well as on general contract and corporate law topics, with a focus on internal company organization and governance of regulated institutions as well as anti-money laundering provisions. Besides Swiss regulations (mainly banking, stock exchange and collective investment schemes provisions), Pascal also advises on international topics such as MiFID II, MIFIR and AIFMD, and how these laws affect Switzerland-domiciled companies. Moreover, Pascal lectures at various institutions on financial markets supervisory provisions, anti-money laundering provisions and other general Compliance topics.
