Partner, Head of Corporate and M&A Tax
After working several years as a scientific assistant in tax law at the University of St. Gallen Stefan Kuhn started his corporate career with one of the large international accounting firms beginning of 2000. He joined KPMG in October 2006 and became Partner in 2008. Stefan advises national and international companies across different industries. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in M&A transactions, including tax due diligence and international tax structuring assignments, buy-side as well as sell-side. Further, he is highly experienced in consulting multinationals in Swiss corporate and international tax matters, with a special focus on tax-efficient supply chain management and international tax planning. Stefan is an expert in Swiss and foreign tax structures as well as inbound and outbound tax planning. He is also a frequent lecturer at the Swiss Tax Academy, the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich and international tax symposia. In addition, Stefan is a member of several national task forces working on the Corporate Tax III legislation. As a local lead partner Stefan is also the “Family Doctor” for all issues of his customers in the region Ticino.
