Patricia has 20 years professional experience working directly with financial services audit and advisory clients and has a deep technical background from supporting KPMG’s client teams on IFRS application matters. Patricia leads KPMG’s Financial Services Accounting Advisory Group. Patricia has worked in New York and Zurich and has developed a wide network within the international accounting and reporting communities. Patricia has led technical discussions with senior finance personnel on IFRS implementation matters. She has also featured as a speaker at external industry events, and has a long background in leading and delivering training on accounting topics to senior accounting and finance groups. She has worked directly with clients in large scale project environments, including multi-year IFRS conversion projects. Patricia has extensive experience in providing observations resulting from her review of the financial statements to audit clients and assisting non-audit clients with drafting the financial statements and notes, taking into account recommendations of the Enhanced Disclosure Task Force, the Bank of International Settlement or the standard setter. Additionally, she assisted a member of the insurance working party analysing IASB staff papers and preparing for meetings and written responses. Patricia is a member of KPMG’s Financial Instruments and Insurance Topic Team.
