Director, Information Protection and Business Resilience
Marc Bieri joined KPMG AG in 2015 as Director. Previously, from 2011 to 2015, Marc was a director and department manager in a Tier-1 bank in the area of security and fraud. From 1999 to 2010, Marc worked in the law enforcement as senior police detective mainly in the cyber investigation unit as well as the leader of the national data recovery laboratory. His education background includes an MBA in Information Systems Security Governance as well as other degrees in business, IT and Information security. Recently, he successfully was certified as Insider Threat Program Implementation Manager from the Carneggie-Mellon University. Finally, since June 2009, he is vice-president of the Geneva Security Forum committee.
Marc’s area of expertise is mainly in the insider threat mitigation, internal investigations, computer forensics, IT security and physical security helping companies in preventing holistically and detecting non compliant behaviours. He covers several market areas industries such as banks, financial companies, industries, international organisations and non-for-profit organisations.
