KPMG announces five-year alliance in support of Canada’s entrepreneurial culture
KPMG in Canada is pleased to announce our five-year commitment to Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Rockies at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

About the Creative Destruction Lab
The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a milestone-based coaching and seed stage financing program for massively scalable technology and science-based ventures. It is a nine-month program that is laser-focused on designing goals with measurable deliverables. The CDL provides startups with mentorship from some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs, guidance and support from chief scientists, faculty members and MBA students, as well as access to equity capital.
Initially started at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, CDL-Rockies is an extension of the program within University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business. It is a catalyst for connecting ventures from across the Canadian Prairies and beyond with experienced entrepreneurs and investors.
A group of highly accomplished entrepreneurs, including Susan Anderson, President and CEO, Cannonball Capital; Dr. T. Chen Fong, Professor, Department of Radiology, UCalgary; Derrick Hunter, President, Bluesky Equities; Paul Lee, Managing Partner, Vanedge; Lindsay Machan, Co-founder, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals; Scott Saxberg, President, CEO and Director, Crescent Point and Laurie Wallace, Co-founder and Past President, FlyOver Entertainment, will work to provide visionary mentorship to participants.
