Now that the UK has given official notice that it intends to leave the EU, negotiations are set to begin on key issues including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Customs Duty and the possible costs and cash flow implications. To help businesses understand how they may be affected by changes in these areas as a result of Brexit, KPMG has developed a tool to assist in the review of companies’ supply chains to assess the impact of any required changes to their operations and, where possible, put in place plans to manage these adjustments.
