March 6 | Geopolitical risk in 2018 - How to make strong strategic choices in the midst of uncertainty (KPMG-hosted event)

From nuclear war to trade wars, keystone elections to keyboard crime, 2018 seems set to continue the political drama of this year. These political factors now more than ever have an impact on business; certainly those that work cross-border, but even those operating domestically through the impact on markets and sentiment.

KPMG International has signed a global alliance with Eurasia Group, the world's top political analysis firm, to help global companies understand geopolitical risk. We are pleased to host Divya Reddy, Eurasia Group's Practice Head for Global Energy and Natural Resources to brief executives on the top geopolitical risks for 2018 and the 'so what' and 'now what' for Canadian mining companies.

She will provide the latest views on macro geopolitical hot topics (US Tax Reform and the broader Trump agenda, Brexit and NAFTA negotiations, politics in the Middle East, and China's globalist strategy, among others), and most importantly, will cover the implications for business - including how KPMG & Eurasia Group's capabilities can help navigate these changes.

Time: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Location: KPMG in Toronto
