As COO, Jeff has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Global Advisory, including business planning and budgeting, management of the investment portfolio, alignment with marketing and communications, stakeholder management, quality and risk management, collaboration and knowledge management, and learning and development. Previously, Jeff was the Managing Partner of KPMG’s Canadian Advisory practice from 2010 to 2016.

Jeff is a Certified Management Consultant with 30 years of experience working with clients spanning Financial Institutions, Consumer Markets, Telecommunications and the Public Sector. Through this experience he has developed a unique leadership skill set to engage and collaborate across the public, private and social sectors. This experience has instilled in him an ability to manage conflicting motivations and priorities, and how to engage with and motivate a high performance team – while effectively improving operational efficiencies to help ensure stronger corporate performance and increase profitability.

In the private sector, Jeff has led significant business optimization projects from business strategy through full execution of programs. In his experience in government, Jeff worked alongside senior officials in all levels of government across Canada to implement major change programs and ensure fiscal sustainability of government programs and services. In the not-for-profit sector, Jeff has been very focused as the chair of numerous boards on community development and corporate social responsibility. In this role, he brings together leaders in the private and public sector to effectively deliver programs to benefit Canada’s most disadvantaged citizens, the homeless.

Prior to joining KPMG, Jeff held senior management roles at IBM Canada, Government of Ontario, AT&T Canada, and was President and CEO of Chartwell Inc., a strategic consulting firm specializing in complex change programs. Chartwell was acquired by KPMG in 2009. As a creator of change within these various leadership roles, Jeff has led significant business optimization programs. He leads with a customer first approach and thrives in an environment where he can help mobilize teams to exceed customer’s expectations.

Jeff’s passion for and experience in innovation, technology, leadership and business strategy has made him one of Canada’s leaders in business optimization and transformational change. In addition to his success in business, Jeff remains committed to the not-for-profit sector and currently is the Co-chair of the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, an innovative non-profit organization in Toronto.
