Noreen Marchand is a subject matter expert in the field of US and cross border tax for businesses in the in the consumer/ industrial markets and technology industries. Noreen has over 20 years’ of experience with cross border businesses of all sizes, both public and private. She has helped to structure business expansion, manage tax costs, repatriate profits, address mobile workforce issues, oversee large compliance projects and represent clients in tax controversy matters.
Noreen has extensive experience providing US tax compliance and advisory services and has focused onproviding assistance to Canadian and other foreign based multinational firms expanding into the US and abroad, as well as,US multinational firms expanding into Canada and foreign markets. Noreen has provided tax advice to large consolidated groups of US companies and partnerships, as well as, US and foreignowned Canadian operations. She has dealt successfully with US tax authorities on audits and voluntary disclosurearrangements to minimize tax liabilities, and has worked with clients to tax effectively repatriate earnings from foreignoperations. As a US Enrolled Agent, she can represent clients before the US Internal Revenue Service.
