Mary Lou is a Partner and Leader of KPMG Canada's audit practice in the Greater Toronto area. Over the course of her career, she has undertaken several leadership roles on both regional and national levels, including serving as Chief Human Resources Officer for KPMG Canada and as Business Unit Leader for the Consumer Market GTA Audit practice. In early 2013, Mary Lou finished her seven-year term as Chief Financial Officer of KPMG Canada to return to her roots in GTA Audit. In November 2013, Mary Lou was named Chief Inclusion Officer for KPMG Canada, reflecting her long-standing commitment to corporate diversity. She is also a member of the firm's National Audit Leadership Team, which deals with quality, risk and operational issues across Canada. Mary Lou also participated in the KPMG Americas Technology Committee and recently led the successful implementation of SAP in the Canadian practice. She was named a Trail Blazer for Women CAs by CA Magazine in 2005 and awarded a Top 100 Powerful Women honour in 2006 for the professional category. Mary Lou is a frequent speaker and is also a contributor to KPMG's Audit Trends report and the author of several Audit Point of View articles.
