Annie assists our clients in developing and implementing corporate tax planning strategies in connection with commercial transactions and business reorganizations. Before joining KPMG, Annie worked at the Income Tax Rulings Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency where she has gained valuable experience in understanding the tax policy considerations of Canadian tax legislation and the practices of the Canadian tax authorities. Prior to that, Annie was a tax lawyer in a major Canadian law firm for seven years. Her practice focuses on the tax aspects of national and international mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.
