Hugues Lachance

Hugues Lachance is a partner in the Corporate tax practice. He has spent more than 30 years with KPMG. As a Certified Professional Accountant, he works closely with several industry groups, including the mining industry group nationally and internationally.

Known as a reference in his field, Hugues has managed several due diligence engagements for domestic and foreign clients investing in Canada. He also participated in the preparation of the KPMG mining tax book: A Guide to Canadian Mining Taxation. Hugues was also a frequent speaker at the Association de Planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
