Carl Deslongchamps is the Partner-in-charge of Tax, Quebec Region practice and he is also the Partner-charge of the R&D group in Montreal Tax. He leads a multidisciplinary team of scientific and financial professionals based in Montreal. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a Finance option, and a Diploma in Taxation.
His experience spans more than 30 years, including 15 years at CRA where he held his last position as Assistant Director, Tax Incentives Section. He is regularly invited as a speaker for various associations such as APFF and CTF. Carl also sits on both Revenue Quebec's and CRA’s Consulting Committees providing a large network of contacts for KPMG's clients and professionals. Among Carl’s diversified clients, he currently serves many large companies, which have varied operations and multiple divisions across Canada, as well as numerous small and medium enterprises.
On top of his SR&ED practice, Carl has developed a Grant & Incentive experience that allows him to advise and support his clients dealing with various Government Bodies in Canada.
