Practicing out of Waterloo, Robert has been dedicated to the KPMG Tax SR&ED practice for the past thirteen (13) years. He has earned a Bachelor’s of Engineering and Management at McMaster University and a Masters of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia. He has developed strong relationships with CRA and a reputation for preparing and defending strong SR&ED claims for clients in the fields of: Aerospace; Manufacturing; Environmental Engineering, Life Science and Sustainability/Infrastructure. He also performs due diligence assessments on 3rd party SR&ED claims as part of the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) process. Robert has significant experience helping companies improve their process for documenting SR&ED and uses this to help clients, often times increasing the size of their claims over a period of time. Rob’s community involvement includes rare Charitable Research Reserve, House of Friendship and the United Way.
