Francis Beaudoin is a Partner and National Leader of KPMG’s Technology Risk Consulting (TRC) Practice. Francis is responsible for leading KPMG’s TRC partners to drive the continued growth and evolution of their teams, capabilities, and services. KPMG’s TRC practice is poised to address existing and emerging technology risks such as the rapid evolution of cyber security threats and safeguards; the “internet of things”; digital labor/process automation; data quality and analytics in a Big Data world; the continuing migration to cloud computing; and the continuing evolution of laws, regulations, and standards in cyber security, privacy, and data governance. With over 20 years of professional experience, Francis has accumulated a wealth of experience and deep knowledge in delivering information security and risk management services to large organizations and his client portfolio features a vast number of Canada’s largest organizations, with a particular focus on financial institutions, asset managers and investment dealers. He has frequently been quoted by national newspapers and he also wrote a number of articles for IT-related magazines.
