On December 13, 2013 the Arrangement pertaining to the General Account and the GL SAC Account of AWCI Insurance Company Ltd., was sanctioned by the Supreme Court of Bermuda and the Arrangement became effective by filing a copy of that sanction order with the Bermuda Registrar of Companies. Payments of claims for these accounts will now be processed in accordance with the terms of the Arrangement.
Notice is hereby given that on application by the Company, orders were made by the Supreme Court of Bermuda on 31 October 2013 that meetings of the two classes of Arrangement Creditors, being Arrangement Creditors of the Company’s General Account and Arrangement Creditors of the Company’s GL SAC, be convened at 10:00 am and 11:00 am Bermuda time respectively on 3 December 2013 at the offices of KPMG Advisory Limited, Crown House, 4 Par-La-Ville Road Hamilton HM 08, Bermuda (“the Meetings”) for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, agreeing to a scheme of arrangement proposed to be made between the Company and its Arrangement Creditors (“the Arrangement”).
