As the Caribbean infrastructure market has gathered momentum, three regional events have stood out from the crowd as critical “hubs” connecting stakeholders. Over the years KPMG and CIBC FirstCaribbean have both hosted proprietary infrastructure events while New Energy Events has hosted the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum annually for the past decade. Meanwhile, IJGlobal, widely considered the leading source of intelligence on global infrastructure markets, has run a highly successful event focused on Central America and the Caribbean.
In 2016, three of those entities – First Caribbean, New Energy Events and IJGlobal – joined forces to launch a truly inclusive, truly regional infrastructure event. That event – the Caribbean Infrastructure Finance Forum – took place in the Bahamas and gathered a who’s who of the regional market.
For 2017, KPMG has joined First Caribbean as a Title Sponsor of the Caribbean Infrastructure Forum.
CARIF is, today, the single event which gathers the market, the place where the regional agenda is defined, the catalyst which will drive the flow of financing and investment into critical regional projects now and for years to come.
Who Attends CARIF?
The objective of CARIF is to accelerate the flow of capital to infrastructure projects in the Caribbean. CARIF draws an expansive audience of project sponsors and developers, providers of multilateral and private capital – and regional governments and utilities.
