Steve Woodward

Steve leads KPMG Enterprise which provides assurance and advisory services to a wide range of clients within Bermuda’s Middle Market sector. He acts as audit engagement leader for many of Bermuda’s most prestigious local businesses and BSX-listed companies, as well as a number of international companies headquartered in Bermuda. Steve also provides internal audit services to several Bermuda organisations.

Steve has over 10 years of UK auditing experience across a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from family-owned businesses to FTSE-100 listed companies. His UK clients included Pirelli UK plc, New Look Group plc, Centrica plc and BAE Systems plc. Steve has advised several UK companies on best practice governance reporting and implementation following the 1992 UK Cadbury Report and implement Combined Code (now the UK Corporate Governance Code). He has been involved in a number of significant non-auditing assignments including due diligence reviews and initial public offerings on the London and Frankfurt stock exchanges.

Steve has considerable experience within the telecommunications sector in the UK, Caribbean and Bermuda.  He was previously responsible for the audit of AT&T in Antigua prior to its acquisition by Digicel, and assisted Cable and Wireless on its IFRS implementation.

Steve is Treasurer of the Bermuda Zoological Society and is the leader of KPMG’s Graduate Programme.
