For the first time Bulgaria is part of KPMG’s Pulse of Economy survey which reached out to 759 business leaders across Central and Eastern Europe to paint a comprehensive picture of the economy in 2017.
Close to 50% of business leaders in Bulgaria envision a healthy economy in 2017
Despite economic and political uncertainties, business confidence remains promising in CEE according to 44% of the respondents in the region. Optimism stands even higher in Bulgaria with almost 50% of business leaders who believe that the economy will improve somewhat or even significantly in 2017.
Headcount to go up
Bulgarian companies are not standing still and again almost 50% are planning to increase their headcount in 2017 compared to the CEE average of 40%. Information Technology tops the headcount results by sector.
