KPMG in Belgium, specializing in audit, accounting, advisory and tax services, opens their new offices at the Post X site in Antwerp Berchem this week. Post X was chosen for its central location and as a mobility hub.
This week, KPMG opens their new offices at the Post X site in Antwerp Berchem, where the Antwerp ring road, Singel and the Berchem NMBS/SNCB-train station meet. The independent law firm, K law, which forms a cost group with KPMG Belastingconsulenten (KPMG tax advisers), will also open a branch here.
Until now, the offices for the Antwerp region were located in Kontich. Dirk Van Stappen, partner at KPMG in Antwerp: "By moving to a mobility hub, we increase the range of transportation available to our clients and staff. The Post X site is very easy to reach, not just by car, but also by alternative methods of transportation such as trains, buses or bicycles.”
Post X has plenty of additional advantages for KPMG. Serge Cosijns, partner at KPMG in Antwerp: "Our new premises' sustainability is state of the art. We also share the site with many other companies and public institutions. This offers a multitude of networking opportunities. It keeps us up to date on the latest industry developments. But most of all, we're in the city now, at a stone's throw from the port. Naturally these aspects are enormously important to our clients and staff."
Next month, KPMG's head office will move as well, to Brussels Airport: "Our moves to both Antwerp Berchem and Brussels Airport mean we are now based in two of our country's major economic growth hubs. Moreover, we actively contribute to tomorrow's mobility solutions by providing a range of alternative transportation options to our staff and clients," concludes Koen Maerevoet, CEO of KPMG in Belgium.
