Find and present process alternatives to real life processes to make them more efficient and controls more effective.
Process mining is the automatic discovery and modelling of processes executed in systems.
Your organization might be increasingly exposed to new risks, growing compliance regulations, decreasing customer satisfaction, operational inefficiencies, fraud or errors that can lead to financial loss or reputational damage. In order to address these risks there is a need for effective process management, making use of innovative tools and techniques.
The key to effective process management is processtransparency which allows you to monitor and improve your existing processes. And that’s where process mining comes in. Process mining is a data driven technique that enables you to analyze your process steps as they are executed in real-life.
Our KPMG team of experts has experience in process mining projects in a variety of domains, going from purchasing to customer services and incident management. Our methodology consists of 4 basic steps which can be extended in order to provideassistance in the actual transformation and further monitoring of the realized improvements.
Think about digital transformations like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) where process mining can help to identify suitable processes and provide a baseline for improvement measurement.
