Social Impact Bonds

The increasingly popular Social Impact Bond (SIB) is an innovative alternative funding method for social projects.

29 May 2018, 9:30AM - 1:00PM, CET

The increasingly popular Social Impact Bond (SIB) is an innovative alternative funding method for social projects. Private investors provide capital to fund social projects for service providers. If the service provider manages to achieve a social impact within a set amount of time, the financial backer (often a government body) will reimburse the original investment to the investor.

In this seminar organized by KPMG, we will hear from national and international experts on what SIBs are and the opportunities they can provide – both now and in future – for Belgian financial institutions and federal, regional and local governments.
