Café Public is an initiative of the public sector practice of KPMG. It provides a chance for national and international experts to highlight the major challenges for the federal, regional and local authorities in Belgium.

Innovation within the public sector in partnership with Microsoft - Wednesday, 31 May 2017

Microsoft experts will join KPMG to explain the importance of innovation in the public sector. They will share insights from their experience with new developments and trends such as block chain, Robotics/Machine Learning & predictive analytics, and the trusted cloud & bots.


End-to-end procurement transformations - Tuesday, 24 October 2017

In an environment of cost reduction, transformation of the procurement function is a key focus for many in the public sector. In this session the experts will explore the following questions:

  • How such a transformation can benefit the different stakeholders? 
  • How to integrate this process into the public sector environment?
  • Is there a role for technology? What are the trends we have seen? 
  • What is the impact on risks and how do you manage them?
