KPMG in Azerbaijan hosted the Inauguration of advocates

On 19 July, KPMG in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Bar Association (Bar Association) jointly held the inauguration of newly admitted members of the Bar Association at Boulevard Hotel. The event was attended by members of Parliament, judges, heads of diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, law professors, as well as more than 250 newly admitted advocates.

On 19 July, KPMG in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Bar Association (Bar Association) jointly held the inauguration of newly admitted members of the Bar Association at Boulevard Hotel. The event was attended by members of Parliament, judges, heads of diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, law professors, as well as more than 250
newly admitted advocates.

During the event, Farid Isayev, Head of KPMG legal practice in Azerbaijan, made a presentation on global trends in jurisprudence. The presentation focused on the role of Artificial Intelligence in legal profession, litigation statistics in foreign countries, as well as intellectual property and data privacy issues.

The joint event reaffirmed our commitment to supporting professional lawyers in Azerbaijan, as well as instill KPMG profile as law firm in local market. Overall, the meeting was attended by more than 400 delegates and concluded with closing remarks of the chairman of Bar Association.
