On 14 April, KPMG in Azerbaijan hosted a client seminar on Transfer Pricing at JW Marriott Absheron Hotel.

Special guest speakers, Ilarion Lemetyuynen, Transfer Pricing Partner, KPMG in Russia and CIS and Alexandra Korovkina, Transfer Pricing Senior consultant at KPMG in Russia, were invited to present the main topic of the conference.

The seminar commenced with a welcoming speech from Mushfig Aliyev, Partner, Head of Tax & Legal at KPMG in Azerbaijan, after which Medina Efendiyeva, Tax manager at KPMG in Azerbaijan made her presentation on transfer pricing. In the course of the event, the key components of the subject were discussed, such as TP general principles and methods of defining it, documentation and source of information, TP preliminary agreement methods, TP determination by taxpayers and dispute resolution, BEPS recommendations regarding reporting structure, as well as practical aspects of TP application in other countries.
The audience took an active part in Q&A session, which took place at the end of the seminar.
The event was attended by more than 70 representatives of local and international companies operating within different industries of Azerbaijan.
