Depth of expertise and ability to deploy across a range of engagement models cited as strengths.
KPMG’s global network of member firms have been recognised as one of the market leaders in IT applications and software consulting, and the top organization for depth of consulting capabilities, in a new report from ALM Intelligence (formerly Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory).
The ALM Vanguard of IT applications and software consulting report evaluates firms according to their ability to create value for their clients and in terms of the depth and breadth of their capabilities across multiple client scenarios.
As a Leader, KPMG is one of only seven organisations considered “at the top of the market” through the depth of their expertise and ability to deploy it across a range of engagement models.
KPMG was ranked number one for the depth of member firm capabilities. According to the report: “KPMG brings to clients a formidable portfolio of tools that accelerate the process of application optimisation and drive functional alignment. This is complemented by the firm’s robust approach to defining the client’s application lifecycle management governance structure.”
Lisa Heneghan, Global Head of Technology, Management Consulting at KPMG commented, “To be recognised as a market leader in IT applications and software consulting and the top organisation in terms of depth of capabilities is a testament to our investment. Our goal is to help clients realise genuine value from their IT strategies and effectively align technology with their business goals.”
ALM also highlighted KPMG as Best-in-Class for consulting on management systems and project management, stating: “KPMG has a well-defined, strong offering that helps clients define and adopt sustainable Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices. KPMG creates for its clients a comprehensive execution plan (for project management) through its Future State Roadmap.”
This latest ranking follows on from KPMG member firms being recognised as top providers of IT Strategy Services and a ‘Vanguard Leader’ by ALM Intelligence in February of this year.
