KPMG Australia has wrapped one of the most successful KPMG Global Catalyst events we have ever hosted. Hundreds of transactions, tax and legal professionals joined us in Sydney and Melbourne from not only Australia but globally, to discuss how technology is changing their business and enabling them to transform and achieve more, with less.

During the event, we hosted an array of sessions and Ted Talks on topics such as:

  • macro themes in technology for transactions, tax and legal
  • building a case for tax technology and transformation
  • adding depth to financial analysis through data analytics for transactions
  • macro trend in legal technology, technology disruption, current research focus on fintech and regtech
  • exploring digital horizons across transactions, tax and legal.

We will be hosting our next KPMG Global Catalyst Event in May 2019 and we hope to see you there.

David Linke, National Managing Partner, Deals, Tax and Legal welcomes Catalyst attendees and introduces our plenary session opening speakers.

Mathew Herring, Partner, Head of Technology and Innovation hosts a panel with Grant Wardell-Johnson, Lead Tax Partner, KPMG Economics and Tax Centre, Helen Sutherland, Partner, Deal Advisory, and Kate Marshall, Partner, Technology Law on how technology is changing the future of the workforce.

Astrid Raetze, Partner and Australian Head of FinTech Law welcomes the legal technology session attendees and introduces the session speakers.

Kimberly Schreiber, Manager, Technology and Innovation shows a client a demo of Fringe Benefits Tax Automator (FBT).

Mike Mills, Global Leader of Global Target Value Platform, discusses macro themes in technology for transactions.
