This course provides a comprehensive introduction to RCM2 and is intended for those wishing to secure optimum performance from any physical assets, with a key focus on safety, environmental integrity, output, product quality or customer service.

RCM2 is a logical discipline for the development of efficient scheduled (preventive) maintenance programs for complex assets, and the on-going management of these programs. Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM2) programs, focus on helping to achieve the inherent safety and reliability capabilities of assets at a minimum cost.

Course duration: 3 days

Recommended participants:

  • Asset Managers
  • Maintenance Managers
  • Engineering Managers
  • Plant Managers
  • Operations Managers
  • Tradespeople
  • Operators
  • Engineers

Introduction to RCM training

RCM3 course

This course provides an introduction to RCM3 and is intended for those operating high risk systems. In 2015, the Aladon network released the RCM3 methodology as a complementary technique to RCM2. However, RCM3 is specifically aimed at high risk/high consequence systems that require a higher level of rigour or alignment with the requirements of the Asset Management Standard ISO 55000 and the Risk Management Standard ISO 31000.

Course duration: 3 days

Recommended participants: This course will assist participants who are responsible for high risk / high consequence systems or assets.

Measure Asset Performance training

This course will provide participants with an understanding of how to achieve business objectives through the appropriate use of asset performance metrics. In particular, it will provide an overview of commonly used metrics and as well as guidance on how to avoid common pitfalls.

Participants will learn where to obtain relevant asset performance data within their organisation, the types of data quality issues that may be encountered and how to conduct data quality assurance. The course will explain the relationship between specific performance metrics and the activities which form an asset management program. A number of case studies will be reviewed to demonstrate the different metrics and measurement systems used by different industries.

Course duration: 3 days

Recommended participants: This course is recommended for participants who require the theory, metrics, case studies and tools to help measure their asset performance and answer fundamental questions about how to support asset management decisions.

Life Data Analysis training

This course provides participants with an understanding of Weibull Analysis, also known as Life Data Analysis, which is one of the most commonly used analysis tools in Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) Engineering.

Participants will receive a comprehensive introduction to core concepts in RAM Engineering, along with the statistical methods used for measuring asset performance. It covers the criticality of proper data collection, interpretation and quality assurance. The course focuses on the fundamentals of Weibull Analysis and provides instruction on various techniques for analysing failure data.

Course duration: 3 days

Recommended participants: This course is recommended for participants who require the theory, metrics, case studies and tools to help measure their asset performance and answer fundamental questions about how to support asset management decisions.
