The Treasury Management course provides hands-on training to executives and managers in either large or small, private and public sector organisations – particularly accountants, finance managers, internal auditors, treasury officers, managers and senior management who need to supervise treasury functions.

This course will assist participants to:

  • identify and develop key strategies for treasury management (i.e. the management of financial risk including foreign exchange and interest rate risks)
  • understand the application and valuation of financial instruments
  • become familiar with the practical requirements of the accounting standards AASB139 and AASB9
  • understand cash and liquidity management, and funding alternatives in capital markets and bank debt markets.
