Our skills in helping clients to transform their business strategy, overhaul internal cultures and prepare for the future have been recognised by one of the most exacting standards in the industry.
KPMG’s global network of firms has been recognised as an ALM Intelligence Vanguard Leader in the field of change management, in the Change Management Consulting report from international market research firm ALM Intelligence.
The comprehensive report, from the group formerly known as Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory, analyses and evaluates firms that deliver consulting services in Change Management. Each firm is assessed for its breadth and depth of service capabilities, as well as its momentum in the market, the experience of leadership and talent, and it’s thought leadership and research, among other criteria. An ALM Intelligence Vanguard Leader status is bestowed on only the strongest providers in the sector, and serves to indicate the recipient’s leadership in that market.
ALM Associate Director, Lead for HR Consulting Research, Liz DeVito, praised KPMG’s ability to connect client issues with effective strategies and solutions.
“KPMG approaches change management through the lens of the client’s business strategy, bringing a deep understanding of the cultural and human behavioural characteristics that pose risks to the organisation’s desired business outcomes,” she said.
ALM Intelligence also noted that KPMG “stands out for its ability to help clients understand the underlying culture of the organisation, develop creative approaches that transform resistance into commitment, and build a change capability that cultivates operating agility”.
Mark Spears, Global Head of People and Change, KPMG International, said the recognition acknowledges that KPMG’s deep and insightful approach to change management improves the agility and decision making capabilities of its clients.
“Driving change can require up to two-thirds of a leader’s time and requires a number of new skills,” he said. “While we believe that these are eminently teachable the reality is that leadership development programs typically don’t cover them.”
Stefanie Bradley, National Partner in Charge, People & Change, KPMG Australia said she is delighted with the result.
“While the ultimate proof of the value of the services we provide is the difference that we make to the way our clients manage, develop and lead people, it’s wonderful to be recognised by industry analysts for the great work our team does”.
Being recognised as a Vanguard Leader in Change Management adds to three other areas where the firm has been recognised as an ALM Vanguard Leader – HR Transformation, Talent Management and HR Consulting.
