This course will assist participants to:

  • identify and develop key strategies for financial risk management in FIs
  • understand the valuation of financial instruments
  • become familiar with the practical requirements of the accounting standards AASB139 and AASB9
  • understand the market terminology associated with, and uses of financial instruments
  • apply the principles in a half day case study.

Participants will:

  • have the opportunity to network with other finance and treasury practitioners
  • receive an update on the current conditions in capital markets and bank debt markets.
