Director, Tax Transformation
Emily Ulcoq is a Director for KPMG Australia in the Tax Transformation practice and works with large multinational clients across all industries to bring industry-leading practice to the transformation of their tax functions.
Emily works with a highly-skilled team of solution architects, data scientists, technology and tax specialists, in the development of tailored tax function transformation solutions for clients. This involves a methodical data-driven approach to understanding clients’ tax systems, processes and specific compliance requirements with a view to transforming their resource and operating models, data and technology roadmaps and governance and control frameworks, for greater efficiency, accuracy and insight.
Emily joined KPMG Australia in 2005, where she began her career in Audit before leading the Tax Markets & Growth team. More recently, she was the Chief Operations Officer for Tax. During this time, Emily led the implementation of the operational transformation of the KPMG Australia Tax business, including the centralisation of delivery of all tax compliance through the KPMG Delivery & Data Excellence Centre.
In her spare time, Emily is kept busy by four children and an active Sydney lifestyle that includes competitive running, swimming and lifesaving. She is the Club Secretary for Kincoppal Rose Bay Aquatics Swimming Club and sits on the Board of the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Club.
