Over his 34 years with KPMG Paul has specialised in providing audit, accounting and advisory services to public and private companies in the industrial markets, agri-business and pharmaceuticals sectors. He says stand out experiences have included advising a client with listing on the Stock Exchange, assisting with the privatisation of Victoria’s electricity assets, and helping many businesses fulfil their growth plans beyond Australia.
Paul is the lead audit partner for a number of ASX-listed companies, including Treasury Wines Estates, Ausnet Services and Costa Group. He is the KPMG National Agribusiness Sector Leader, a former Partner-in-Charge of the KPMG Melbourne Audit Practice and co-Chair of the KPMG Australia Audit Committee Institute. Since 2006 he has been the representative of the Big 4 accounting firms on the National Executive of the Group of 100 – an influential lobby group comprising the Chief Financial Officers of Australia's top 100 companies.
Paul has travelled and worked extensively in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, North America and Brazil. Paul enjoys escaping with his family to his holiday home in the central highlands of Tasmania, where he relaxes with fly fishing. Other interests include AFL football (Geelong Football Club), snooker and horse racing.
