Agribusiness Adviser and Associate Director, Risk Consulting
Growing up on cattle properties in outback Australia, and completing the first 6 years of his education via the School of the Air, instilled the value of hard work in Blake and a desire to challenge the way things are done.
“The remoteness of my upbringing taught me to explore, to be flexible in my approach, and to create innovative solutions,” he says.
Blake joined KPMG in 2007 and carries this approach through to his internal audit clients. His areas of expertise include heavy vehicle transport, high voltage transmission services and public infrastructure projects.
He also has a specialist knowledge in the beef industry. A standout experience at KPMG was working with one of Australia’s leading beef producers to ensure the integrity and safety of the beef production supply chain. This project directly impacted the confidence that can be placed in Australia’s beef industry.
“I find fulfilment in bringing solutions to meet the challenges that exist for the beef industry,” he says.
