ACT Chair and Lead Partner, Federal Government
Cath likes nothing better than to solve complex problems. It has been the motivating force behind her far-reaching work in public sector reform. Today, as KPMG’s Lead Partner for the Federal Government, she embraces the challenge of advising on nationally significant programs, her principal aim to help shape a thriving and sustainable Public Sector that delivers relevant advice and services to all Australia. She also enjoys working with a diverse range of people, bringing the best out in each of them.
Cath has held a wide range of roles over the years in internal audit, risk management, governance and assurance. Most recently, she led the Independent Program Monitoring and Assurance role for the Department of Human Services over a significant Service Delivery Reform Program.
Her work has taught her the value of self-awareness. “If you want to lead a client, you have to lead yourself first.” Being authentic is also critical. “You have to be real when you’re in the business of consulting.”
Cath loves a good laugh, has a strong belief in the arts, and an ardent passion for rugby union.
