Finding new, more efficient ways to deliver tax services to clients in a digital world is a key motivation for Mathew. As KPMG Head of Tax Technology & Innovation in Australia and ASPAC, he is working on innovative technology solutions to transform the tax business, but also to enable even deeper insight and enhance the quality of advice to clients.

As a Partner in KPMG's R&D Incentives practice, Matt was previously responsible for South Australia and Western Australia as well as Lead Partner Renewables and Lead Partner Energy & Natural Resources (ENR) R&D in Australia.
Matt has worked with clients in a diverse range of industries, in particular in mining, renewables and cleantech. He joined KPMG in 2002 after various commercial and government roles.
As a student, Mathew backpacked around the world, and has also worked internationally. Now, life is busy as a parent to three boys. He makes time to indulge his love of music, frequently adding to his vinyl record collection.
