Associate Director, Internet of Things
Ken Holder is the Smart Energy & Natural Resources lead within KPMG’s Internet of Things (IoT) Practice.
Ken has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Automation and Control, working across industries including Power, Utilities, Water, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Infrastructure, Transport and Smart Buildings.
He has extensive experience engaging with clients and partners to scope, design and deploy intelligent automated IoT systems across Australia, China, India, SE Asia and the Middle East. Ken has also worked closely with companies to lead them in the design, development and manufacturing of software and hardware automation products, with a view to commercialising these for international distribution and deployment.
Ken works with clients in the Energy & Natural Resources sector to help them tap into the transformative and economic opportunity presented by IoT, underpinned by connecting the digital world with the physical world which helps us make better, faster decisions, automate processes and predict future events.
Ken draws on KPMG’s deep industry, technology, policy and analytics insights, to assist organisations to better deliver safe and effective IoT solutions. Ken helps clients with new markets, IoT strategy and implementation, security, data analytics, technology advisory, local and international policy, growth plans, revenue, tax compliance and more.
