Tanya Gilerman

Tanya is the Chief Risk Officer for KPMG Australia. She is responsible for risk and regulatory matters as well as broader commercial and business risks associated with the Firm’s growth strategy.

Tanya was admitted to the partnership in 2000, specialising in the financial services sector in audit and risk advisory. She was previously Partner in Charge of Sydney's Financial Services Audit practice and Chief Operating Officer of the National Audit Business as well as a member of the Australian Audit Leadership group.

Tanya has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. She is registered Company Auditor and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of Social Ventures Australia, a not-for-profit organisation aimed at overcoming disadvantage.

Tanya sponsors the Earhart programme for high achievers and promotes gender equality and diversity within the firm. She is also a member of the Chief Executive Woman (CEW).
