Michael is a Partner in KPMG's Actuarial & Financial Risk team, consulting to the financial services and insurance industries. He has been a Partner at KPMG since July 2000.

He specialises in modelling assignments advising on financial management, pricing and reserving for a diverse range of companies and products.

He also provides advisory services, reports to regulators and court based independent expert advice on complex member equity/remediation, superannuation and annuity modelling and statistical problems.

In the insurance industry he has a particular interest in 'living benefit' products and the analysis and treatment of mental health related claims.

He has co-authored papers on life industry suicide claims/prevention and trends in disability income insurance and use of technology.
